The robbers were said to have looted the bullion van and escaped with undisclosed amount of money. Armed robbers attacked a bullion van at Elemoso village along Ondo-Akure Road in the Ondo East Local Government Area of the state. 

According to an eye witness who narrated the story to punch; The bullion van and the escort 

vehicle were rained bullets as the policemen were caught unawares. The rubbers made away with the cash in the bullion van which was supposedly belonging to UBA

The speed breaker erected on the highway helped the armed men.
