Britain's Oldest Person Dies At The Age Of 114

Ethel Lang at the time of her death happened to be the oldest living person in the United Kingdom, the eighth oldest living person in the world, the second-oldest living person in Europe and one of the 100 oldest people ever.
She was born on 27th May, 1900 in Worsbrough, near Barnsley. Lang’s mother lived to the age of 91, and her great-grandmother until 92.
Lang was the last living British person to have been born during the reign of Queen Victoria. She is survived by a 91 year old daughter.
