Nigerian designer ,Maki Osakwe makes history
In Washington DC, Nigerian
designer Maki-Oh (Maki Osakwe) made history as the first African
designer to be invited by the First Lady (Michelle Obama) to the White House in
Washington DC. On the night of 8th Oct, Maki Osakwe who attended the
historical event with her parents rubbed shoulders with Naomi Campbell, Diane
von Furstenberg, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, Narciso Rodriguez, Naeem Khan and
Georgina Chapman.
